Once upon a time there was a little girl who struggled to learn her ABCs. After hours, days, weeks and months, she finally mastered the power of reading, and she could pick up her Nancy Drew and enter that magical and exciting world all on her own.
The girl grew older, and started studying English literature because she could not get enough of the wonders hidden between two covers. The girl also got a job in a bookshop, and discovered another exciting side to literature: sales and talking to customers about books! When the girl could boast having a master’s degree in English literature, she finally knew what she wanted to be when she grew up: a publisher.
So the girl packed her bags, travelled across countries, oceans and continents, and started on an Honours degree in Publishing at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. Here she met the man of her dreams, a brilliantly talented graphic designer who showed her the beauty of the world. Together they got a faithful puppy named Shadow.
After a year of learning, inspiration and exciting challenges, diploma in hand, the girl, who was now a woman, wondered what the next chapter of her story would be.
